Deshret Arm Chair
An arm chair inspired by the formal Red Crown of Lower Egypt & the fertile Nile river basin.
The Red Crown is depicted in the Narmer Palette worn by the victorious pharaoh Menes, founder of the First Dynasty.
Several ancient representations indicate it was woven like a basket from plant fiber such as straw, palm leaf, or reed, hence the use of rippled Red velvet for the finish material.
